As it has been aptly said, that in Sonepur Mela one can buy & sell from a petty  needle to mighty Tuskers( right now trade in Tuskers has been banned due to wild life protection act 1972), consequently this fair  not only provides vast and wide opportunities of trade but also attracts the  different stream of traditional traders and retail representatives from corporate companies across the country.Additionally , the millions of footfalls of visitors & tourists  in Sonepur mela boost and adds  to their business & trade.
